Friday 29th of June, during Rome’s holiday of the Saints Peter and Paul, the city Mayor Walter Veltroni officially inaugurated Pincio’s Hydrochronometer, rebuilt by teachers and students from watchmaking, goldsmiths and mechanic courses of the ELIS Professional High Formation School. Students from the course Multimedia Languages & Technologies of the ELIS Professional High Formation School realized the website www.orologiodelpincio.it in order to explain the history and describe the working.
Prof. Michele Crudele, ELIS Center’s director, spoke in front of several journalists and guests in the Casina Valadier’s Sala Impero about the principal steps of rebuilt, underlying the educational worthiness of the operation.

Later, among a crowd made up of students, teachers, ELIS’ friends, tourists, families and children, the Mayor, the city councillor for Cultural Policies Silvio Di Francia, the regional councillor for the Formation Silvia Costa, the President of the 5th city hall Ivano Caradonna, the President of ISMA Paola Guerci and the director of the ELIS School Pierluigi Bartolomei with two rebuilding coordinators, the professors Luigi Mercatili and Claudio Magrelli, went to the center of the small lake, where the clock is placed, and bared the glasses which show the working gearing.
